Performances of This Tree Listens by ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฑ๐๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ take place Sunday, June 4 at 4:00pm in Victoria Park/Willow River, 32 Dill St, Kitchener. This Tree Listens is presented by musical partners Open Ears Festival as part of the CAFKA.23 biennial ๐๐ฉ๐๐ฎ ๐๐๐ฉ๐ ๐๐.
This Tree Listens is a site-specific, hour-long, family friendly presentation created by Erin Donovan (artistic director/musician), Yvonne Ng (choreographer) and Lori Gemmell (musician) alongside other improvising movers and musicians. Audiences and performers will move through a series of performances and meditations in Victoria Park at a gentle pace, deeply listening to what is around us in new and unusual ways. While taking in the sights and sounds in the park, can we imagine that the treesโone tree in particularโmay also be listening to us?
Hear Here Productions creates site specific work in the music, dance, theatre, film and visual art realms that is relevant to a particular time and place. Our work provides a vibrant way to tell stories and celebrate culture while welcoming a diverse audience of every age and background. We work with the highest level of artistry, while presenting art in approachable and accessible ways.
