Alongside an overview of documentation equipment and techniques, participants will have a hands-on opportunity to document 2D and 3D artworks and receive feedback on their efforts. Participants are encouraged to bring digital cameras and tripods but Smartphones will work too.
The Artwork Documentation workshop will take place in-person at The Artery student art gallery in East Campus Hall, University of Waterloo, and is facilitated by former CAFKA exhibitor and Brock University Professor, Jimmy Limit.
Snacks and refreshments will be provided for workshop participants.
This workshop is free for CAFKA members, $5 for non-members. NOTAFLOF: no one turned away for lack of funds.
This workshop is part of a year-long series focused on providing practical and accessible career support for artists and cultural workers and is generously funded by The Keith and Winifred Shantz Fund for the Arts, held by the Waterloo Region Community Foundation.
