Aislinn Thomas' first-person video document reflects on the connections between domestic family life, memory and food. Location: Kitchener City Hall, 200 King Street West, Kitchener.
 
Aislinn Thomas also produced a performance event with her mother Peggy at the Kitchener Market on Saturday, September 17, 2011 entitled Best Biscuit, where Aislinn and her mother attempt to adapt Peggy's famous Sweet Potato Biscuit recipe to suit all tastes, values and GI tracts.
 
A recent graduate of the University of Guelph, Aislinn Thomas' multidisciplinary art practice includes video, performance, graphic art and text-based work. Her work brings life to historical models of conceptual art and formalism through humour, narrative and playfulness. Aislinn Thomas is the 2010 recipient of the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts C.D. Howe Scholarship for Art and Design. She currently lives in Whycocomagh, Nova Scotia.
