An Invitation to Remain is part of a series of paintings entitled The Pink House, which traces the demolition of an abandoned house. This body of work endeavours to address ideas of chaos, collapse and vulnerability. They not only present massive piles of debris, but also lost histories, imaginative and psychological spaces and a destroyed domestic environment.
