CALL FOR ENTRY: CURATORIAL PARTNERS

Since 2007, CAFKA has produced its biennial exhibition with the participation of partners from across the Region. Recently, CAFKA has reviewed its program of biennial partnerships and established new partnership categories with the goal of clarifying partner roles, improving the overall quality of the biennial and promoting contemporary art in the Waterloo Region.

CAFKA has created a new category of partnership called Curatorial Partner. A Curatorial Partner can be an art institution or a freelance curator who develops a public art project to be exhibited during the CAFKA biennial.

CAFKA.13: MAY 25, 31 & June 1

The Open Ears Festival of Music and Sound presented its first festival in 1998, dedicated to new and creative music, rare and eclectic sounds and the art of listening. Having decided to align with CAFKA in presenting the regular biennial festival, Open Ears will be moving to later in the spring. Between the Ears is the first intensive collaboration of Open Ears and CAFKA.

2013 Annual General Meeting // Mon. Apr. 15, 2013 // 7 PM // Learning Room - Kitchener City Hall

CAFKA's Annual General Meeting will take place at 7 p.m., Monday, April 15, 2013 in the Learning Room of the Kitchener City Hall at 200 King St. W. The meeting is open to all active members of CAFKA.
